The zero-emission drilling rig, especially for anchor drilling with double head. With easy connection to standard electrical infrastructure on construction sites. Off-grid operation with battery is possible.
The powerful zero-emission drilling rig for anchor drilling with double head.
Zero Emission
The KR 806-3E zero emission drilling rig is the latest member of the World renowned KLEMM KR 806 family, recognized for its advanced technology and maximal performance. Zero emission means to be free from exhaust fumes, and to have a significant reduction in fine dust and noise pollution. The KR 806-3E is ideal for use on construction sites with high standards of decarbonization and zero-emission targets including sites located in urban areas, in tunnels and in enclosed spaces.
Smart drive technology
The power train is based on an electrical, permanently energized synchronous machine with a peak output of 154 kW. Connection to a standard 400 VAC construction site power distribution point is easy by way of a maximum of 2 x 125A CEE connectors. Working with a reduced connected load is possible when using an optional actively cooled battery. The battery is used to cover peak loads and allows the rig to operate independently to the mains supply. Using its own battery management system, the battery automatically recharges depending on load situation at that time. When configured with battery, an on-board transformer ensures galvanic isolation and the correct electrical network. This allows for a safe operation in all working applications.
Machine kinematics
The kinematics are the same as those of the KR 806-3GS. Stiffness, operational fatigue strength and operational stability have been significantly increased whilst there has been a considerable reduction in mechanical tension. The kinematics, primarily designed for drilling shallow, inclined, deep-set boreholes, now also enable piles to be drilled directly beside the tracks, both to the left and to the right.
Hydraulic system
The hydraulic system includes a three-circuit load-sensing system which uses the successfully tried and tested Load Limit Control and patented Power-Sharing technologies. The mobile control blocks are directly integrated into the CAN-BUS and are extremely responsive. They are self-regulating thus unaffected by temperature and highly precise. The EEP-Package (EEP=Energy-Efficient Power) uses a power and energy management system whereby the motor speed automatically adapts to the respective load and operating conditions. Additionally, the large hydraulic cooler features temperature-controlled speed regulation which further reduces noise emissions.
Smart operation and control
All the drilling rig functions are operated over radio remote control. The functional safety of the machine control system complies with Performance Level C (ISO 13849) which means that it has been designed to be extremely resistant to malfunctions and failures. The drilling rig can also be operated in modes ROM and SPM in accordance with EN 16288. A further safety feature of the KR 806-3E is that it is pre-equipped for the installation of a KLEMM Bohrtechnik interlocking guard.
Maintenance and diagnostics
The already extensive display options and diagnostic tools that are customary with KLEMM Bohrtechnik have been also been expanded. For example, the screens can display the flow regulation of each flushing channel, the drilling depth or the inclination of the mast. All pump circuits are equipped with easily reachable mini measuring connectors. A telematics system with the DataLink Air module is installed as standard.
The advantages
100% electric
The electric drilling rig can easily be operated on a standard 400 VAC site power distribution board.
Power
Same power, boom kinematics and mast systems as its diesel-powered counterpart, the KLEMM KR 806-3GS.
Off-grid operation
Powerful battery on-board for off-grid operation and to cover peak loads.
Telematics
Telematics solution for machine, process and service data for fleet management, preventive maintenance, etc.
Can be adjusted to the task at hand
Operating options
hybrid electric
Drilling rig with backpack B10 (battery) can be connected to the site power distributor with max. 1x 125 A CEE plug. 1x 86 kW is supplied from mains, peak load is supplied from battery. Battery is charged as soon as the power demand of the drive train is below the power of the mains supply. Mains form on the rig: IT, galvanic mains separation by on-board isolating transformer.
grid-bound
Drilling rig without backpack can be connected to the site power distributor with max. 2x 125 A CEE plugs (2x 86 kW). It can be connected at minimum with 1x 32 A CEE (22 kW). Mains form on the rig: TT or TN (or TN-S), depending on the local grid provider.
Off-grid with battery
Drilling rig with backpack B10 (battery) can be operated off-grid. Mains form on the rig: IT.
Off-grid with 400 VAC genset or power storage
Drilling rig is prepared for off-grid operation with backpack GXX (on-board 400 VAC power source, e.g. battery or genset, not yet available). Mains form on the rig: IT.
Details and options
Backpack B10
Cable-free and off-grid operation
Kinematic boom assembly
Kinematic boom assembly with much improved strength and rigidity, optimised for low and inclined anchor drilling spots and with improved set-up options for working beside the crawler tracks
Radio remote control
All tramming, set-up and drilling functions are operated by radio remote control (Standard).
Machine control
Machine control with LCD colour screen and touch-input
Surround signal lamp
The safety operating modes (ROM, SPM) and other machine statuses are visualised by a surround signal lamp.
EEP
The drilling rig in the series already has a complete range of efficiency components such as automatic, highly dynamic adjustment of the engine speed to the load sitation, and Power Sharing of the main pump circuits (patented).
Oscillating crawler tracks
The crawler tracks can oscillate passively and actively. This improves stability when working on uneven ground and greatly simplifies loading processes on semi-trailer trucks or similar.
Guard
An interlocking guard complying with EN 16228 can be delivered for the drilling rig.
Rod loader
Rod handling can be simplified, for example, by the MAG 8.3 rod loader with linear magazine.
Lateral sliding carriage
Stable, laterally sliding carriage for almost all drill heads and double-head drilling systems
Central lubrication points
Regular maintenance and care is made easier by centrally compiled lubrication points.
